Thyroglobulin Antibody

Thyroglobulin antibodies (TgAb) are part of the body’s immune response against your thyroid. High levels suggest the immune system is mistaking thyroid tissue for a threat, which can contribute to autoimmune thyroid conditions like Hashimoto’s or, less commonly, Graves’. It doesn’t tell you how well your thyroid is working directly — but it does flag inflammation or potential damage to your thyroid gland. If you're tracking thyroid symptoms (fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, cold sensitivity), this marker helps detect root-level immune stress.
