Anabolic Insights vs AlgoRx: Lab Prices, Fees, TRT and Dashboards Compared (2026)
Anabolic Insights vs AlgoRx on lab prices, checkout fees, medications, TRT, wearables and charting, with screenshots and real Reddit threads.
Educational content · Not medical advice · Provider evaluation required for any treatment
Disclosure up front: I'm Drew, the founder of Anabolic Insights, so this comparison is biased. I also previously worked at AlgoRx. Everything about AlgoRx below comes from its public website, FAQ, policies and checkout, and each claim links to its source or shows a screenshot. Prices and policies were checked on October 11, 2026, and either company can change them. Where AlgoRx does something better, I say so.
The short answer
Anabolic Insights is the better fit if you want cheaper blood work with no checkout fees, cheaper à la carte tests, medications with no provider or shipping fee, testosterone therapy (AlgoRx doesn't offer it), and one dashboard for labs, protocols, wearables and notes on your results.
AlgoRx is the better fit if you need a medication in a state we don't cover yet, or want a large catalog in one place (AlgoRx lists 64 medications).
Here is how it breaks down:
- Lab panels: at Quest, our panels cost less than AlgoRx's at every tier, with no fee at checkout. Our Complete Men's Panel is $239 for 85 biomarkers. AlgoRx's Basic Male Panel is $260 with its fee, for a published 86. Our Advanced Men's Panel+ is $350 for 123 biomarkers, against $605 for AlgoRx's Advanced Male Panel at a published 128.
- À la carte tests: total testosterone (LC/MS) plus ultrasensitive estradiol at Quest costs $38 with us and $76 at AlgoRx. AlgoRx adds a $10 "Diagnostics fee" to à la carte orders. We charge a $0 lab fee.
- Medications: AlgoRx adds a $15 provider review and $15 shipping to medication orders under $250. Our medication checkout has no provider fee and ships free.
- Testosterone: we offer a $99/month TRT membership in 14 states with labs, provider visits and shipping included. AlgoRx's FAQ says it does not offer testosterone or hormone replacement therapy.
- Tracking: you can overlay your own protocols on your lab history, connect Garmin, Withings scales, Omron blood pressure cuffs, Cronometer and more, save notes on individual results, and save your own custom panels. AlgoRx does none of these.
- Rewards: both companies have one. With Anabolic Cash, you earn 10% when someone orders through your link, and 10% when someone buys a custom panel you built and shared.
- Where AlgoRx wins: broader state coverage for medications and a larger catalog.

Blood work: more biomarkers per dollar, no fee at checkout
Panel names don't line up between companies: one company's "Basic" can test more than another's "Complete." So below we compare each men's panel both companies sell at Quest by price and by the number of biomarkers each company publishes for it.
AlgoRx adds a $10 "Diagnostics fee"
AlgoRx sells three core men's panels. At Quest, the Basic Male Panel is $250 (list $275), the Intermediate Male Panel is $450 (list $500) and the Advanced Male Panel is $595. At Labcorp, the same panels are $335, $545 and $795.

AlgoRx's core men's panels at Quest. The Basic card's description says "58 biomarkers" and the label below it says "86 biomarkers."
When you add a panel to the AlgoRx cart, a $10 "Diagnostics fee" appears under the subtotal. A $250 Basic Male Panel costs $260 before tax.

The AlgoRx cart with one Basic Male Panel (Quest): $250.00 subtotal plus a $10.00 Diagnostics fee. The same panel shows three different marker counts: 58 in the description, 86 on the card and 16 in the cart.
Anabolic Insights doesn't charge a lab fee
Our men's panels at Quest are the Basic Panel ($95 on sale, list $120), the Complete Men's Panel ($239) and the Advanced Men's Panel+ ($350 on sale, list $550). Our Advanced Men's Panel is sold through LabCorp. Prices are current as of October 11, 2026.

Our men's panels. Each panel's detail page lists every test it includes, by lab.
The cart shows the usual $10 lab fee crossed out with "Zero lab fee," so the panel price is what you pay.

Our cart. Each lab group shows the $10 lab fee crossed out ("Zero lab fee"). The medication in this cart, tadalafil at $30.00, is also the total, with no provider or shipping fee added.
Panel prices and biomarker counts at Quest
| Panel | Price at Quest, all-in | Biomarkers (as published) |
|---|---|---|
| Anabolic Insights Basic Panel | $95 (list $120) | 75 |
| Anabolic Insights Complete Men's Panel | $239 | 85 |
| Anabolic Insights Advanced Men's Panel+ | $350 (list $550) | 123 |
| AlgoRx Basic Male Panel | $250 + $10 fee = $260 | 86 (58 in its own description) |
| AlgoRx Intermediate Male Panel | $450 + $10 fee = $460 | 96 |
| AlgoRx Advanced Male Panel | $595 + $10 fee = $605 | 128 |
Prices and counts are from each company's site on October 11, 2026. Anabolic Insights counts come from the test list on each panel's page.
A note on these numbers: panels are hard to compare. Two panels with similar counts can test different markers or use different methods, and each company counts components differently (for example, whether each part of a CBC counts as its own biomarker). A true comparison means checking every biomarker in each panel, one by one, which is more than this post can cover. Use the counts as a rough guide, and before you order, open both panels' full test lists and check that the markers you care about are included.
Matched by size:
- Complete Men's Panel vs AlgoRx Basic: 85 vs 86 biomarkers. Ours costs $21 less.
- Advanced Men's Panel+ vs AlgoRx Intermediate: 123 vs 96 biomarkers. Ours has 27 more and costs $110 less.
- Advanced Men's Panel+ vs AlgoRx Advanced: 123 vs 128 biomarkers. Ours costs $255 less.
Our Basic Panel ($95, 75 biomarkers) has no AlgoRx equivalent. AlgoRx's cheapest core men's panel is $260.
À la carte tests: about half the price, and no fee
If you only need a few markers, such as a mid-protocol testosterone and estradiol check, à la carte pricing matters more than panel pricing. We put the same two Quest tests in each company's cart: total testosterone by LC/MS and ultrasensitive estradiol by LC/MS.

AlgoRx: $20.00 for total testosterone (LC/MS), $46.00 for ultrasensitive estradiol, and a $10.00 Diagnostics fee. That's $76.00 before tax.

Anabolic Insights: $14.00 for total testosterone (Quest test code 15983, LC/MS), $24.00 for ultrasensitive estradiol (Quest test code 30289), and no lab fee. Total: $38.00.
| Quest test | Anabolic Insights | AlgoRx |
|---|---|---|
| Total testosterone, LC/MS | $14 | $20 |
| Estradiol, ultrasensitive LC/MS | $24 | $46 |
| Estradiol, standard | $10 | $15 |
| Free testosterone | $29.99 | $30 |
| DHT | $40 | $54 |
| Lab or diagnostics fee | $0 | $10 per order |
| Testosterone + ultrasensitive estradiol, all-in | $38 | $76 |
AlgoRx does have some very cheap single tests, such as a $6 CBC or TSH, and a $15 ApoB. Even on those, the $10 diagnostics fee changes the math: a $6 test becomes $16.
Save your custom panels and earn Anabolic Cash
Both sites let you build your own panel. Only Anabolic Insights lets you save it. If you run the same quarterly check, you build it once, name it, and reorder it with one click next time.

A saved custom panel: 13 markers at Quest for $181.59, ready to reorder.
You can also share any panel you build. When someone buys a panel you shared, you earn 10% of the order in Anabolic Cash.

Every saved panel has a share link. You earn 10% store credit when someone buys it.
Anabolic Cash is our rewards program:
- Your own referral link. Friends who order through your link get 10% off, and you earn 10% of their order in Anabolic Cash.
- Panel creator rewards. You earn 10% when someone buys a custom panel you built and shared.
- Spend it on your own labs. Anabolic Cash can cover part or all of an order at checkout.
- It clears after the refund window. Earnings stay pending for 30 days, until the order is past its refund window, then move to available.

The Anabolic Cash page. The personal referral link is blurred.
AlgoRx has a rewards program too, the Performance Club. You earn points on purchases and referrals and can redeem them for credit, shipping or lab retests. It doesn't reward you for building and sharing panels, and AlgoRx doesn't save custom panels.
Medications: no provider fee and no shipping fee
AlgoRx's medication sticker prices look low. The extra charges show up in the order summary.
AlgoRx charges $15 for provider review and $15 for shipping
On the AlgoRx tadalafil page, the order summary lists the medication, a $15.00 "Provider review" and $15.00 "Shipping."

AlgoRx's tadalafil 5 mg, 30 count, on a subscription: $34.32 for the medication, plus $15.00 provider review and $15.00 shipping.
AlgoRx's own policies confirm both fees:
- The FAQ says a $15 provider fee "applies to every medication order, including each subscription renewal."
- The shipping policy says shipping is free on orders of $250 or more, and orders under $250 pay a standard $15 shipping fee.
- The refund policy says approved refunds are subject to a 25% processing fee.
- Subscriptions save 12% but have a three-billing-cycle minimum, with a $30 early-termination fee for each remaining cycle.
Anabolic Insights medication pricing
Our medication checkout doesn't add a provider fee, and shipping is free. Tadalafil 5 mg daily is $30.00 for a one-month supply, and the cart total is $30.00 (see the cart screenshot above).
| Medication (first order) | Anabolic Insights | AlgoRx (with $15 provider + $15 shipping) |
|---|---|---|
| Tadalafil 5 mg, 30 tablets | $30 | $39 + $30 = $69 |
| Enclomiphene | From $99, labs included | 12.5 mg x 30 from $99 + $30 = $129, labs extra |
| Tirzepatide | From $199 | Compounded blend from $199 + $30 = $229 |
| NAD+ | From $199 | $219 + $30 = $249 |
Doses, formulations and supply lengths differ between the two catalogs, so treat this as a rough comparison. AlgoRx's sticker price is lower on some items, such as sildenafil 20 mg x 15 at $25, and its 12% subscription discount helps. Once the $30 in fees is added to an order under $250, though, our price usually comes out lower. Every prescription on either platform depends on a licensed provider's evaluation.
Testosterone therapy: we offer it, AlgoRx doesn't
AlgoRx's FAQ states it plainly: "algorx does not offer testosterone or hormone replacement therapy." AlgoRx sells TRT screening and follow-up lab panels, but there's no TRT program to go with them.

From AlgoRx's FAQ: no testosterone or hormone replacement therapy, and no provider review of lab results.
Our testosterone membership is $99 a month, billed $297 quarterly. That price covers your blood work, the provider visit, follow-up labs, medication if prescribed, and shipping. It's available in 14 states as of this writing, and you get a full refund if your provider decides you don't qualify.

Our TRT membership. Every step, from the first labs to the six-month rechecks, is marked "included."
The TRT membership includes provider review of your labs. AlgoRx's FAQ says the opposite for its lab panels: "algorx providers don't interpret or review lab results," and a panel "doesn't include a review or interpretation."
To be fair about state coverage: AlgoRx says its clinical partners cover all 50 states, and products like tadalafil, sildenafil and enclomiphene list no state exclusions. Some products do have exclusions. For example, AlgoRx's tirzepatide is listed as unavailable in AR, AK, IN, MN and SC. If you're outside our coverage for a specific medication, AlgoRx may be able to serve you when we can't.
Overlay your protocols on your lab history
This is the feature I built Anabolic Insights around. Most lab companies give you a PDF, or a chart for each marker. We let you mark when you started or stopped something (a medication, a supplement, a diet or a training block). Every relevant biomarker chart then shades that window, so you can see what happened before, during and after.

A "Started TRT" protocol. Every chart shades the protocol window, and the pinned-draw panel marks whether a draw was before or on protocol.
Each protocol shows:
- Shaded windows on every chart. Each biomarker in the protocol gets its own trend chart with your start and end dates marked.
- Shared zoom and pan. Scroll or pinch on one chart and the rest follow, so a single draw lines up across markers.
- A pinned draw panel. Pick any past draw and see whether it was before, during or after the protocol, along with the values from that draw.
- Wearable metrics. Protocols can include wearable data next to your labs, such as sleep or resting heart rate.
AlgoRx's results page charts markers over time, but you can't add your own protocols, medications or date ranges to those charts.
Comprehensive lab charting, with notes you can save
Every result on Anabolic Insights is charted, not just stored. The Bloodwork tab opens with the markers people ask about most, scored against optimal, borderline and high zones, and then every result grouped by body system.

Heart risk markers on the left, and every result in the draw grouped by system on the right: 9 below range, 71 in range, 16 above or flagged.
You can also comment on individual lab results. Click a point on a trend chart and add a note, like what you were taking at the time or whether you were sick or had trained hard the day before. Notes stay attached to that result, show up as an icon on the chart, and appear again whenever you pin that draw.

A saved note on an ApoB result: "Was on ezetimibe at the time." The note icon on the chart marks which draw it belongs to.
Notes work the same way on your phone. Tap any point on a biomarker chart to see that result's value and note, and switch between lab ranges and optimal ranges.

The same ApoB history on mobile. The selected October 2024 draw shows 71 mg/dL and its saved note, "Was on ezetimibe at the time."
Notes matter more than they sound. Six months later you won't remember why one ApoB reading dipped. With a note, the reason is saved next to the number.
You can also upload lab PDFs from other providers. LabCorp and most Quest PDFs upload for free, and those results go into the same charts. If you already have years of labs from a clinic or your doctor, your history doesn't start over.
AlgoRx doesn't let you add notes to results or upload outside lab reports.
Connect your wearables
Labs are a snapshot taken every few months. Wearables fill in the days between draws. Anabolic Insights connects through Junction to devices like Garmin, Oura, Fitbit, Polar, Withings smart scales, Omron blood pressure cuffs, Cronometer, Apple Health, Eight Sleep, Ultrahuman and Dexcom.

Five connected sources (Apple Health, Garmin, Withings, Omron and Cronometer) and a Garmin sleep chart with nightly stage breakdowns.
That gives you:
- Sleep from Garmin, Oura and others, with stage breakdowns and trends.
- Body composition and weight from a Withings smart scale.
- Blood pressure from an Omron cuff. This matters if you're on TRT, where blood pressure and hematocrit both need watching.
- Nutrition from Cronometer.
- Activity and training from your watch.
Connecting wearables requires a membership: Basic is $15 a month for 3 device connections, and Pro is $30 a month for 5.
AlgoRx doesn't connect wearables.
What Reddit says about AlgoRx and Anabolic Insights
I searched Reddit for both names and pulled threads that show real experiences, good and bad. Usernames are blurred except for the two companies' official accounts. I chose these threads, so treat them as a sample, not a survey, and click through to read the full discussions.
AlgoRx on Reddit
Provider communication. One AlgoRx enclomiphene customer described "radio silence from my provider about dosage adjusting." They asked for "a better source with providers that will actually order labs and review them with me."

r/enclomiphene: "Currently". This matches AlgoRx's own FAQ, which says its providers don't review lab results.
Batch consistency. Another customer thought they "got a bad bottle" of enclomiphene. AlgoRx's official account replied that its enclomiphene comes from Strive, a US compounding pharmacy, and offered to look into it. That's a good response.

r/enclomiphene: "Algorx enclo".
A positive one. In r/GregDoucette, someone asked whether AlgoRx's cheap tadalafil was legitimate. The original poster later came back and said they ordered it and "the tadalafil is legit."

AlgoRx also has a 4.8 rating on Trustpilot and is LegitScript certified. It's a real company with plenty of happy customers. The complaints I found were about follow-up care and fees, not legitimacy.
Anabolic Insights on Reddit
Results as they come in. One user recommended us because we post results as each one finishes instead of waiting for the whole panel. They noted that some sensitive testosterone tests "can take a week." They say they were an early beta tester and still pay full price for their own blood work.

r/enclomiphene: "Recommended Blood Panel Provider - Anabolic Insights".
Mixed but useful. In r/Testosterone, someone asked if there were downsides to using us. One reply preferred another service for picking separate tests instead of bundles. We now sell individual tests and custom panels too. Another reply said: "I used them for the enclomiphene panel. Worked great for me."

r/Testosterone: "Any reviews using Anabolic Insights to get bloodwork?".
An independent price comparison. A user in r/Biohackers priced the same recurring blood work schedule across seven self-pay lab providers. For their specific schedule, we came in mid-pack. Goodlabs and Mito Health were cheaper, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. We responded publicly and adjusted our pricing. The author also wrote that we were "the only provider I found that had a panel that actually covered my full set of tests in one shot."

r/Biohackers: "I compared the all-in cost of the same recurring bloodwork schedule across 7 self-pay lab providers". AlgoRx wasn't part of that comparison.
Where AlgoRx is the better choice
AlgoRx is a well-built product. Choose it over us if:
- You need a medication in a state we don't serve yet. AlgoRx's partners cover more states for most of its catalog.
- You want a large catalog in one place. AlgoRx lists 64 medications, including hair loss treatments, sermorelin and rapamycin, which we don't carry.
- You prefer AlgoRx's points program. Its Performance Club points can go toward credit, shipping or lab retests.
Where Anabolic Insights is the better choice
Choose Anabolic Insights if:
- You want more biomarkers for less. At Quest, our panels cost less than AlgoRx's at every tier, with no lab fee at checkout.
- You order à la carte. Testosterone plus ultrasensitive estradiol costs $38 with us and $76 at AlgoRx.
- You don't want fees added to your medications. We don't charge a provider fee or shipping on medication orders.
- You want testosterone therapy with labs, provider visits and shipping included in one monthly price.
- You want to know what your protocols actually did. Overlay them on your lab history and see the before and after.
- You track more than blood work. Connect Garmin, a Withings scale, an Omron blood pressure cuff, Cronometer and more.
- You want your history in one place. Upload outside lab PDFs for free and save notes on any result.
- You reorder the same labs. Save custom panels, reorder them in one click, and earn 10% in Anabolic Cash when someone buys a panel you shared.

How we compared
We reviewed public pages on both sites and the Anabolic Insights dashboard on October 11, 2026:
- AlgoRx sources: AlgoRx lab packages, each Quest panel's detail page, AlgoRx biomarkers, the AlgoRx cart, the AlgoRx tadalafil page, the AlgoRx FAQ, the shipping policy and the refund policy.
- Biomarker counts: as each company publishes them for its Quest panels. Our counts come from each panel's test list.
- Screenshots: Anabolic Insights screenshots come from a live account. Reddit usernames are blurred.
- Prices: these are the prices shown on the date checked, including current sale prices, before tax and promo codes. Both companies change prices, so confirm at checkout.
Anabolic Insights publishes this post and has a financial interest in it. Our founder previously worked at AlgoRx and has no current relationship with the company. This comparison uses only AlgoRx's public information, not anything learned while working there.
