Superpower is a $349-a-year membership that bundles two blood draws, an action plan from its AI and care team, and a member marketplace. Anabolic Insights sells lab panels one order at a time with no membership, so choose Superpower if you want a guided yearly program with an at-home draw option, and choose us if you want to pick your own tests, retest on your own schedule, or track a hormone protocol.

The short answer

  • Price: Superpower is $349 a year ($599 in New York and New Jersey). Our Quest panels are $95, $239 or $350 per order, with no membership and no draw fee.

How the Superpower membership works

You pay $349 for a year; Superpower publishes no monthly plan. Its membership agreement says it renews automatically "at the then-current, non-promotional membership rate," so a new-member discount won't carry into year two.

Two draws a year. A baseline panel, then a retest of about 60 of the same markers later in the year. The headline "150+ biomarkers" adds both draws together. Superpower's own comparison page puts the initial draw at "87 biomarkers (75 distinct and 12 calculated)," including 15 urinalysis items. Extra full panels cost more.

Where you're drawn. At a Quest location, or at home or work for $119 more, "available in most major US metros." Missing or moving a home visit within 72 hours forfeits that fee.

Guidance. Results land in an app with a biological age, health scores and a protocol covering diet, lifestyle, supplements and retest timing. Kin, Superpower's AI, answers most questions; Superpower says "clinicians review decisions, edge cases, and changes that matter." Its providers are licensed physicians, nurse practitioners and pharmacists working through an independent medical group.

Marketplace. Add-on tests range from gut and toxin panels to the Galleri cancer test, DEXA and a whole-body MRI. Supplements are up to 20% off. Superpower says it offers "dozens" of prescription medications, including compounded hormones, when clinically appropriate, though not in every state. It notes that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved.

Cancelling. Cancel anytime to stop the next renewal; you keep read-only access to your data. Superpower's FAQ says it "does not offer refunds at this time," but its membership agreement (effective September 15, 2026) offers a one-time refund of the base fee within 7 days of your results or 45 days of joining, whichever comes first.

States. Superpower's FAQ lists 41 states and DC, excluding Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota and Wyoming. Its homepage list doesn't match, so check your state before you pay.

How Anabolic Insights works

There's nothing to join for labs. Pick a panel or build your own from individual tests, and a licensed provider orders it. You're drawn at a Quest, LabCorp or BioReference patient service center, with no lab or draw fee.

Results typically arrive within 7–14 days. Single hormone tests often take about 3 days; our larger Quest panels take closer to 12. That's slower than Superpower's stated week.

Every result goes into a dashboard with trend charts. You can upload outside LabCorp and most Quest PDFs for free, add notes to results, and mark when you start or stop a medication, supplement, diet or training block so the charts shade that window.

For treatment, a licensed provider reviews every request, and medication is prescribed only if the provider decides it's appropriate. Our testosterone (TRT) membership is $99 a month, billed $297 quarterly, with labs, provider visits and shipping included, in 14 states. Enclomiphene, semaglutide and tirzepatide are compounded: they're not FDA-approved and are prepared by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy for an individual patient with a valid prescription.

Price per biomarker, with the math shown

Assumption: we divide each price by the biomarker count each company publishes. For Superpower we show two versions, because its headline count includes repeat tests.

OptionPriceBiomarkers (as published)Price per biomarker
Superpower, headline count across both draws$349/yr150+$2.33
Superpower, unique markers in a year (its initial-draw count)$349/yr87$4.01
Basic Panel, Quest$9575$1.27
Complete Men's Panel, Quest$23985$2.81
Advanced Men's Panel+, Quest$350123$2.85

If you want two draws a year from us, here's what that costs:

  • Basic Panel twice: $190.
  • Complete Men's Panel, then the Monitoring Panel: $379.
  • Complete Men's Panel twice: $478.
  • Advanced Men's Panel+, then the Monitoring Panel: $490.

These counts aren't apples to apples. Superpower's 87 include 15 urinalysis items and 12 calculated values, by its own account. Our counts also include every CBC, differential and urinalysis component. Before you buy either, check the full test list for the markers you care about.

Superpower says its initial draw measures ApoB, A1c, insulin, hs-CRP, estradiol, FSH, LH, SHBG, DHEA-S, cortisol, TSH and T4. It also says PSA and free T3 are not on that draw, and lists prostate screening and an "active testosterone" panel as add-ons. Our Complete Men's Panel includes PSA, free T3, free testosterone by equilibrium dialysis, total testosterone by mass spectrometry and ultrasensitive estradiol by LC/MS. It doesn't include ApoB, which you can add for $19 at Quest.

Membership vs pay-per-test: which model fits you

A membership is a fixed bundle: one yearly price, a set number of draws, support included. Pay-per-test charges only for what you order, when you order it.

A membership suits you if:

  • You want someone to read the results and hand you a plan.
  • You like a set routine: one baseline, one retest, reminders in between.
  • You want a broad yearly screen and an at-home draw.
  • You'd rather buy add-on tests and supplements in the same app.

Pay-per-test suits you if:

  • Your schedule isn't twice a year. On testosterone therapy, the Endocrine Society recommends a standardized monitoring plan in the first year that checks testosterone, hematocrit and prostate cancer risk (Bhasin et al., J Clin Endocrinol Metab 2018). Your provider sets that timing, not a membership calendar.
  • You only need a few tests. Free and total testosterone, ultrasensitive estradiol, CBC, PSA and a CMP come to $81 at Quest with us. See what labs to get before talking to a provider about TRT.
  • The method matters to you. On a hormone protocol, an uncapped LC/MS testosterone result helps. Our Basic Panel uses an immunoassay capped at 1,500 ng/dL, so pick the Complete Men's Panel instead. Here's why the method matters.
  • You don't want automatic renewals or a yearly fee when you might not test.

Either way, book your draw in the morning. In men aged 30 to 40, testosterone was 20–25% lower at 4 p.m. than at 8 a.m. (Brambilla et al., J Clin Endocrinol Metab 2009).

What a big panel can and can't tell you

This applies to our large panels as much as to Superpower's. Lab reference ranges are usually built to cover the middle 95% of healthy people (Ozarda, Biochem Med 2016). So about 1 in 20 results from a healthy person lands outside the range by design. Run 80 or more markers and a few flags are expected even when nothing is wrong.

Broad screening also has a limited track record for hard outcomes. A Cochrane review of 15 trials with outcome data, covering 251,891 people, found that general health checks had little or no effect on total, cancer or cardiovascular deaths (Krogsbøll et al., Cochrane Database Syst Rev 2019). Those trials studied traditional checkups, not today's biomarker panels, but the lesson holds: testing is most useful when it answers a question you have or tracks something you're changing.

Where Superpower is the better choice

Superpower has real advantages. Choose it if:

  • You want an at-home draw. For $119 more, a phlebotomist comes to you. We don't offer at-home draws.
  • You want guidance built in. An action plan, an AI assistant that knows your results, and a care team are all part of the price. We don't offer coaching or action plans.
  • You want specialty add-ons. Galleri, DEXA, a whole-body MRI, gut, toxin and genetic testing are sold in one place. We don't sell those.
  • You want a cardiometabolic baseline in one draw. ApoB, hs-CRP, insulin and A1c are on Superpower's initial draw. Our men's panels lean toward hormones.
  • You want results faster. Superpower says about a week. Our larger panels take closer to 12 days.
  • You want supplements at member pricing in the same app.

Where Anabolic Insights is the better choice

Choose Anabolic Insights if:

  • You don't want a membership. Pay for a panel or a single test, with no yearly fee, no renewal and no draw fee.
  • You need single tests or a recheck. Free and total testosterone is $18 at Quest, and a five-test TRT check is $81.
  • You want a choice of labs. Quest, LabCorp and BioReference, compared with Quest only.
  • You track a hormone protocol. Uncapped LC/MS testosterone, free testosterone by dialysis, ultrasensitive estradiol and PSA are in the Complete Men's Panel. Protocol overlays show what changed after you started or stopped something.
  • You want medication prices up front. TRT, enclomiphene, tadalafil, sildenafil and compounded GLP-1s are listed with prices on each product page. A licensed provider reviews every request.

FAQs

How much does Superpower cost?

Superpower's membership is $349 a year, billed yearly, and its comparison page lists $599 a year in New York and New Jersey. At-home draws cost $119 more. Add-on tests, supplements and prescriptions are priced separately.

Is Superpower cheaper per biomarker than Anabolic Insights?

It depends how you count. Superpower works out to about $2.33 per biomarker using its headline 150+ across two draws, or $4.01 using its 87-marker initial draw. Our Quest panels range from $1.27 (Basic Panel) to $2.85 (Advanced Men's Panel+), and each company counts biomarkers differently.

Does Superpower offer at-home blood draws?

Yes. Superpower sends a phlebotomist to your home or office for an extra $119, in most major US metros. Anabolic Insights draws only at Quest, LabCorp or BioReference patient service centers.

Can I cancel Superpower and get a refund?

You can cancel anytime to stop the next yearly renewal. Superpower's membership agreement offers a one-time refund of the base fee if you ask within 7 days of your results or 45 days of joining, whichever comes first. Its FAQ says it doesn't offer refunds, so confirm before you buy.

Does Superpower prescribe medications?

Superpower says its marketplace offers dozens of prescription medications, including compounded hormones, when a clinician decides they're clinically appropriate. It doesn't list them or their prices on its public site, and they aren't available in every state. Anabolic Insights publishes medication prices on every product page.

Is Superpower HSA/FSA eligible?

Superpower says its membership is HSA/FSA eligible and provides an itemized receipt on request, but its agreement leaves approval to your HSA/FSA administrator. Anabolic Insights is cash pay, and our itemized receipts may help you substantiate an HSA/FSA claim.

How we compared

We reviewed Superpower's public pages and the Anabolic Insights site on October 11, 2026:

  • Superpower sources: homepage, FAQs, how it works, membership agreement, what we test, and its comparison pages vs Function Health and vs Hone Health, which carry its initial-draw count, at-home fee and New York and New Jersey price.
  • Biomarker counts: as each company publishes them. Price per biomarker is the price divided by that count, rounded to the cent.
  • Prices: shown on the date checked, before tax and promo codes. Superpower runs new-member offers at times. Both companies change prices, so confirm at checkout.
